Firstly, I promised a testimonial. I waited a bit before writing it as there was a lot happening in my life and I wanted a chance to reflect on both my life and how you helped.
I think the first thing you helped me with was the really hard questions. We spent time looking at some of my challenges and having a few home truths was fabulous. I feel that you helped peel away some of the things that I had been hiding from about myself.
Secondly, as hard as it was, I stayed put though my natural inclination was to run. Holding me accountable was what I asked and even after having two new job offers, the value of staying put has been so rewarding. I have found my confidence again, made some fabulous friends in my team and extended my technical skill set. Thank you so much for holding me still – I used to want to change things all the time!!
Finally, your kindness and generosity of spirit as part of your professional role was totally unexpected and much appreciated. I changed sessions around and you spent so much time helping me through the sessions and giving me a line of sight above what was happening to me.
Thank you!

Andrew,
Thanks very much for our coaching sessions to date. I’ve found them to be most beneficial, possibly more so than I expected at the start.
What I particularly appreciate is that your manner and approach helps me find focus within myself, and that I am finding many answers to my questions – and indeed the questions themselves – are coming from me.
Likewise having a feeling of accountability and distinct achievable goals within sensible time-frames makes my own progress that much easier. But I don’t think that could have happened without your assistance.
I think your ability to listen, identify the key ideas I’m expressing, and distill what I’ve been saying down into something clear and manageable can’t be underestimated. The fact that you inspire confidence and trust certainly contributes as well.
In short, I’ve found the coaching sessions extremely worthwhile.

First and foremost Andrew has taught me that failure is not a dirty word! Understanding that concept from the beginning has resulted in my fear of trying being removed. I have realised that if I didn’t always hit the mark 100%, it is still a valuable learning experience. With that in mind in only six months I have seen goals achieved that have been on my “life to do” list for the past five years!
Accountability has been so important for me in the coaching sessions, and the anticipation of knowing there will be follow up in between sessions from Andrew has kept me focused. At times Andrew has even given me the little “push” that I may have needed to stay within time-frames, and complete tasks that are needed to see the overall goal achieved.
The main sense of achievement for me personally in the coaching has come, because whilst Andrew’s guidance is there in each and every session (and that time in between!) he is simply leading me in the right direction, whilst ultimately I have still found the way on my own.
Andrew has a realistic outlook on life; there are no false promises or unachievable expectations set out in the coaching sessions. This means that the goals Andrew helps you create and achieve are real, the time-frames are manageable, and bottom line that means you will achieve them!

In March I made the decision to move overseas for the next couple of years. With that decision came the realisation that I had a lot to do in very little time while continuing to work in a hectic job until the day before my departure. I had a huge list of jobs to do, it all seemed unachievable.
Andrew was recommended by a friend and after my first session I was extremely relieved. It is amazing that after speaking with someone outside of my normal support circle, it all seemed within my reach. I worked through the list, breaking it all down in to smaller, more manageable tasks and each day I found myself making progress.
I met with Andrew fortnightly over the course of two months. Each fortnight I would leave with a small list of jobs that I had come up with that I saw as being priorities for that fortnight. Being accountable to Andrew made a big difference.
Andrew’s approach was calm and focused, my initial approach was frantic. Over time I managed it all, was reminded by Andrew via email of what goals I had set for myself and I continued to update him along the way.
I am now just about ready to leave and feel organised, relaxed and far less anxious about it all. Andrew took no credit for all that I achieved, he simply reminded me that I did it all myself, I just needed assistance in breaking it all down. Simple yet so affective.
Thanks for everything Andrew, much appreciated!
